Granbury

Grump's Hamburgers  Some great burgers ands beer that will ice up in the mug it's so cold. What else can I say. It's on Hwy 377 on the way to Ft Worth near the Vavoline oil change place. Go check it out.

Babes Chicken House    This is a family style chiken place. You can have all the corn, Green beans, and mashed potatoes that you can hold, along with a huge helping of chicken cooked to your liking and catfish. I'm getting hungry writing about it. There is one in Granbury and Burleson. Those ae the closest. Happy eating.....

Clifton 

Johnny's Place    This place makes for a great breakfast ride.  They are right on Hwy 6, they have a good breakfast buffet.  After breakfast at Johnny's your in a good place to ride around some great roads.      

 

Glen Rose

Dino Rider  Recently reopened in their new building on Hwy 67 north of Glen Rose - they have a full menu with seating inside or outside.  If you feel like killing some time, they also have a free pool table. Sam is still serving up some of the biggest burgers in the area - so stop in for bite when your riding through Glen Rose.     website link 

Loco Coyote   Good food... enough said.  Really, a plate of anything is enough for two.  Open on the weekends, its hard to not enjoy a good meal out in the country.  While the fastest route is to take Hwy 67 west out of town to CR 1004; a better route to enjoy the country is to take Tx Hwy 205 out of town to CR 1004.  This route has a slower pace and goes through some prime riding country with lots of turns and views.

Ranch House   Some of the best country cooking in the area.  The bar-b-que is great - but I've been a fan of their chicken fried steaks for a long time.  Good food surrounded by some of the prettiest waitresses in Glen Rose.

 

Waco

Hog Creek Ice House     Now here is some good food.  They have a full menu - everything from salads to chicken fried steak.  There is plenty of seating for the people, and plenty of parking for the bikes.  They have good concerts, cold beer, and its a great ride getting here... need any more reason to go?   website link

 

West

The Pizza House of West  is a good place to catch the game and eat some good food.  Their menu is varied enough to make the whole group happy - and their is enough room that elbow room is not a concern. Located at 505 West Oak St; no more than a couple hundred yards from IH35 - the drink selection is just as varied as the menu.  If you haven't rode to West - now you have no excuse not to.
